As Muslims, we should never fabricate hadith. If we don't know something about the Prophet (S.A.W) when asked, we should stay quiet or be honest about not knowing. The Prophet (S.A.W) warned anyone from telling a lie against him as Anas narrated, "Whoever tells a lie against me intentionally, then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire"

btw, no one is perfect.. just be honest if you are not certain about something.. it is normal.. no one knows everything in this world, thus we need to learn a lot.. PEACE and LOVE !
